LIP PRODUCTS CURRENTLY IN MY PURSE (COLLABORATION WITH MAHKEUP)

My friend Mahlon over at Mahkeup and I decided it would be fun to collaborate on a blog post. I love her blog and Instagram account (@mahkeup) and besides being super sweet, she is absolutely STUNNING. Anyways, we are both sharing the lip products that are in our purses.

Currently, I keep my most-used lip products in my Louis Vuitton Multicolor Noir Cosmetic Pouch. Some of these products may vary week by week but most of these lip products live full-time in my purse. I tend to bring neutral (in color) and comfortable (in formula) lip products with me. A lot of these are also on the more moisturizing but sheer side as opposed to the overly-drying, yet very pigmented, liquid lipsticks. I like to keep products in my purse that I can apply with no mirror and not have to worry about. I also like to carry with me any newer purchases that I want to try out. Here are the products currently residing in my purse:

(Disclaimer: I am absolutely horrible at describing colors + most of these products are VERY similar in color. So, I have included swatch of each lip product at the bottom of this post)

MAC Lipstick in Brave – I absolutely love MAC lipsticks. This one is pink, and very pigmented, with a satin finish.

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Bare Pop – This lip product is very moisturizing and the color (a shimmery pinky-nude) is super flattering and goes with any makeup look. As of right now, this one is definitely my go-to lipstick. Check out my full review here.

Dior Addict Lip Glow in Pink -The Lip Glow is very hydrating and the color (a sheer but bright pink) really brightens up your face. It is a great lip color for Spring and Summer and is another one that gets used A TON by me. Check out my full review here.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Vintage – This lip gloss is SUPER pigmented and smells like dessert. The color is a rosey pink and the formula is not TOO sticky or glossy. I don’t own very many lip glosses but I really enjoy this one.

Nars Lip Gloss in Chelsea Girls – This lip gloss is a coral pink color and the formula is glossier and more sheer than the Anastasia lip gloss. I honestly don’t reach for this one very often, but I keep it in my purse to motivate myself to use it more.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Honey – This drugstore lip stain is moisturizing and comfortable. The color is absolutely beautiful and goes with any makeup look. I heard a rumor that this product is being discontinued so I have already purchased a backup.

Pixi Mattelustre Lipstick in Honey Bare – This lipstick is moisturizing and is not overly pigmented. The color is super flattering and really brightens up my whole face. Check out my full review here.

Dior Addict Lip Maximizer High Volume Lip Plumper in Pink – This is the most recent addition to my lip product collection. This is described as pink, but it is essentially a clear gloss. I do NOT like wearing this product on it’s own, but it is perfect as a lipstick topper because it adds gloss and really plumps your lips. It also has a slight tingling sensation.

PS – This post SHOULD include my new Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Pepper, but unfortunately, I LOST it. If I *really* can’t find it then I will definitely be repurchasing it. The formula is super comfortable and the color is (of course) neutral and flattering with most makeup looks.
