Are y’all excited for the Sephora VIB Rouge Sale? Here is what is currently on my wish list:
New (to me) Products:
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra ($38 cost, $5.70 savings) – Y’all know that I am obsessed with my Hourglass blush in Mood Exposure so I want to pick up another shade. I think that this color would be really good for Spring and Summer months.
Becca Bush in Songbird ($32 cost, $4.80 savings) – I’ve heard really good things about the Becca blushes and this color looks awesome. Blush is my favorite makeup product so I like to try a lot of different blushes!
Ouai Hair Oil ($28 cost, $4.20 savings) – I have been seeing a lot about this brand on Sephora.com and social media. It is created by the hairdresser that does the Kardashian’s hair. All of the products seem to get really good reviews on Sephora.com so I wanted to try something from this brand. A hair oil is something that I will actually use and don’t already own a ton of.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Lip Lacquer in Pretty Thing ($28 cost, $4.20 savings) – My friend Lisa LOVES these Marc Jacobs lip glosses. Recently, Jaclyn Hill mentioned a different shade as being her favorite lip gloss EVER. I am tempted to buy that shade but I think it’ll be way too light for me. This shade looks like it would be more flattering for me and it won the Allure Best of Beauty Award.
Nars Pro-Prime Eyeshadow Base ($26 cost, $3.90 savings)- I was actually looking at the eye primers because I wanted to buy the Smashbox eye primer. I absolutely love the MAC one, and I heard that they are basically exactly the same (they are owned by the same parent company). However, I saw this primer and remembered that Casey Holmes swears by it. It also gets REALLY good reviews and I like the fact that it has an applicator that you can apply directly to your eyelid.
Sunday Riley Power Couple Duo ($78 cost, $11.70 savings) – This is a really good deal. It has both the Luna Oil and the Good Genes Treatment. I have been wanting to try both of these for a long time but I’ve had two reservations. One, they are really expensive – so, if I love them do I really want to continue to spend this much on these products? Two, my facialist recently recommended a skincare line that targets hormonal breakouts and I wonder if my money would be better spent buying the products she recommended from that line.
Lancome Teint Idole Foundation Stick ($42 cost, $6.30 savings) – I am OBSESSED with this foundation. The one I bought is really new, but I am seriously tempted to go ahead and buy a back up while it is on sale.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38 cost, $5.70 savings) – This is my holy grail setting powder. I previously had the travel size and now that I am running low I really want to buy the full size. However, I have a ton of loose and pressed powders that I really need to use up and I am afraid if I buy this I won’t use any of them anymore..
Alterna Hair Care Caviar Shampoo and Conditioner in smallest size ($18 cost, $2.70 savings) – This is the shampoo and conditioner that I am currently using. My hairdresser recommended that I switch to a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and we have both seen huge improvements in my hair since I started using these. I am tempted to stick with these but I’ve also been curious about trying the Pureology line.
Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm ($29 cost, $4.35 savings) – I am so in love with this for taking off my makeup each day. It does a great job of removing makeup, doesn’t irritate my eyes, and feels sort of luxurious. Only con is that I use it so much that it doesn’t last too long.
Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation ($38 cost, $5.70 savings) – – I ran out of this foundation (in my correct shade) so I desperately need to repurchase it. This is one of the items that I recommended on my previous post: My Sephora Sale Recommendations.
Beauty Blender ($20 cost, $3 savings) – because, duh.
Let me know what you guys are hoping to pick up from the sale and if you have tried any of these items!
